Stone Soup cares about the environment

One of our goals is to improve our recycling efforts to reduce landfill waste and renew resources.  The store is committed to recycling, and seeks new ways to process damaged or unsold items.  From 2004 thru 2009, 13,470 large bags of clothing were recycled.  Unusable leather goods and shoes weighing 3,626 lbs and were reprocessed by a local recycling company for use as absorbents for oil spills.
