Stone Soup provides vouchers for free goods, to families and individuals who lack funds to purchase household merchandise, furniture, clothing or other items we handle. Referrals for vouchers are made by community and social service organizations.

Stone Soup receives a generous supply of donated goods. Community households with limited or fixed incomes, shop here, and benefit from the fine quality of the goods they purchase.

From 1998 through 2009 we gave goods worth more than $278,238 to families and individuals referred to us through agencies and churches and community organizations.  See the attached Outcome Report for details.  During 2009 donated goods valued at $80,139.50 were provided at no cost to:  876 persons (356 adults, 496 children, and 24 seniors) and community groups.  Of these individuals, 196 were homeless.
