Helping people strengthen work and life skills
By working with the Local State Workforce Center, we help to educate and prepare individuals for the world of work and eventual self-sufficiency. Stone Soup is a place where individuals learn and renew their education and work skills, with the goal of future employment.
Helping seniors & special needs adults in the world of work
We also help seniors and individuals with various limitations, who have been out of the marketplace. They are encouraged, feel useful, gain skills that can be placed on a resume, and eventually secure employment.
In 2007...
During 2007, 15 individuals participated in work experience activity and preparation for future employment. Of those, 11 were came to us from the Workforce Work Experience in Washington County, and 4 from the Senior Workers program.
