We have many opportunities available for those looking to serve the community by helping out here at Stone Soup.
In order to be an individual volunteer, we ask that you attend an orientation to learn about our store. Any volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
If you are interested in helping us provide to the community, simply contact Vickie Snyder at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 651-666-8408.
Groups of Students:
Students who are required to complete service hours as a part of a club requirement are invited to join us. Students must meet the same requirements as individual volunteers. For those unable to meet those requirements, we offer an opportunity to volunteer on Wednesday evenings 5-9 pm or for 3 hour shifts on Saturdays from 10-1 and 1-4.
Youth and Civic Groups:
Volunteering with youth and civic groups is a great opportunity to learn about service. These groups also provide us with a tremendous amount of help. If you have a group and would like to schedule a service project, please call 651-458-9786 with any questions or concerns. We wish to provide this opportunity to everyone, but please understand that we may not be able to fulfill every request. Please plan to schedule your project two (2) weeks in advance. While planning your project, flexible dates can be helpful. Please note, groups 18 and younger, one (1) adult is needed for every ten (10) youth.
We are always open to new ideas or projects. If you or your group would like to serve by coordinating a special project please contact Vickie at email@example.com or call 651-666-8408. We will contact you in order to discuss your project and whether we are able to take advantage of the opportunity within the time-line of your request.
To apply to be a volunteer, please download and complete the volunteer form and background check form (above).
When completed, you may fax it to 651-458-1090 or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Call: 651-458-9786 if you have questions about volunteering or company sponsoring.
